Cindl’s interest in medicine started after a Misison trip to Haiti in High School, which strengthened her desire to make a difference in individual lives as well as at a community level. After completing a degree in microbiology and immunology at the University of Western Ontario, she enrolled at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario. During her 4 year program she developed a special interest in pediatrics, fertility and women’s health. Cindl moved to Kenora with her family in 2012 and enjoys all the community has to offer with her 3 children.
Cindl has a well-established local practice and has treated a wide variety of conditions. She offers primary care services for children, adults and seniors as well as acupunture treatments. Through her years of walking beside patients on their healing journeys, Cindl has witnessed firsthand the strong connection between mind, body, and spirit and how effective a holistic care approach can be when dealing with the complex mechanisms that cause disease. She has observed the devastating effects of psychological & emotional trauma on physical health and her assessments & treatments focus on all dimensions of health in order to re-establish a balance of these systems.
